“Rum Cay: Unspoilt Jewel of The Caribbean”
The Rum Cay Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated towards improving the overall well-being and living conditions of the residents of Rum Cay, Bahamas.
The Rum Cay Foundation is set up as a US Based 501C3 non-profit allowing US citizens a tax write-off for their donations. One hundred percent of proceeds will go directly towards various projects we are working on.
Rum Cay endured extensive damages from Hurricane Joaquin back in October 2015. The Rum Cay Foundation raised over $20,000 towards relief efforts along with working closely with such organizations as Yacht Aid Global and Waterkeepers Bahamas.
Currently the Rum Cay Foundation is focused on finishing the Rum Cay Community Shelter. A safe haven for residents to seek shelter during hurricanes but will also include social acitivities, educational opportunities and a computer lab. Any donations made to the Rum Cay Foundation will go towards this latest project.
